Hide The Hashtags in Your Instagram Story!
You’ve probably heard Instagram experts 👨🏫 preaching that you should be using hashtags in your stories before.
It’s true, they’re great for increasing exposure 📈 and getting more eyes on your content, but they’re ugly!
For #TipTuesday this week, we have some tips and tricks to hide those butt ugly hashtags 🙌 so you can have the best of both worlds!
1) Use IG’s Create Mode.
If you’re posting a photo 🌄 from your camera roll, this works great. Open up the Instagram story interface and swipe to the “Create” mode. Tap to type, then paste in your hashtags. Next, go back to your camera roll and copy your photo for the story. Tap the screen in create mode and “Paste” your photo overtop of your tags. BOOM! 💥 They’re hidden.
2) Hide them with a Gif or Sticker.
If you want to hide them quickly, shrink the text and put a gif or sticker 🌈 over top of them! All you have to do is tap and drag the sticker element and stretch it to fit overtop.
3) Hide them with your post if sharing one.
If you’re like us, and you share your recent posts 🖼️ to your stories (which you should be!) it’s easy to hide them. Paste in your tags, and drag your post overtop of the tags just like you would with a sticker. All of the exposure, none of the ugly.
4) Blend them in with some camouflage!
By using the colour tool, you can match the colour 🎨 of your text to the colour of your background. Talk about a disappearing act! Just tap the little circle on the left of the preset text colours and then drag your finger to the colour you want to match.
That’s all for now! Follow these steps and you’ll be on your way to cleaner looking captions. At Konstruct Digital, we do everything we can to make your social media look as awesome as you are!
