Use Facebook’s Instant Forms to Generate Leads
Having a hard time generating leads? It’s time to give #Facebook’s lead generation ads and native instant forms a try. They’re almost frictionless for users and in some cases, they generate leads more effectively than a landing page. For #TipTuesday this week, we’re going to teach you how to get started!
Open up Facebook Ads Manager. Click “+ Create” on the top left of the ad list. When beginning to create a new ad campaign, select the “Lead Generation” objective.
Next, select your audience, ad placements, budget, and schedule for the campaign. Note: Unlike other ad types, you cannot target people under 18 with these ads. When you’ve reached the ad creation step, you’ll be able to select an “Instant Form”. Click “+ New Form” to begin creating a lead form.
In the Content tab, you can add an optional intro to your lead generation form. This is a great way to give users more information about your brand and offering before they fill out the form.
Next, click on the questions tab. Under “What information would you like to ask for?” you’ll see email and full name already selected. You can click “Show more options” if you want to ask for more info.
If you need more detailed information, you can add custom questions to your form. Simply click “+ Add Custom Question”. You can add up to 15 custom questions to your form.
That’s all there is to it! Click “Finish” to complete your form, and you can start your new lead generation campaign. We’ve used these forms to generate leads for clients and ourselves!
