How to Kickstart a New Facebook Group
If you’ve ever tried to grow a quality Facebook group 👨👩👧👧 with good content and engaging users, you’ll know it’s not easy! 😐
For #TipTuesday this week, we’ve got a sweet hack to help you kickstart ⬆️ your Facebook group and ensure it’s providing valuable content ✅ to your audience. 💥
Run a Facebook ad 💵 for page likes 👍 targeted at people that would be interested in your group (spend $100-$200 to ensure there is a fair bit of reach). Once the ad starts running, invite 💌 everyone that likes your page to join your awesome new group.
Once you hit a few hundred 💯 members, your group will start growing organically through Facebook search 🔎 and the “Suggested Groups” feature.
You may be wondering, 💡 ‘will it diminish the quality of the group inviting all of these random people?’ 😬 As long as you keep posting good content in the group, and mute whoever posts bad content, you’ll be fine. 👊
A quick side note: Page likes ads have great 🙌 engagement. People will like on your ad as if it were a post in their news feed or even leave comments from time to time. They’re normally drawn 👀 to it from the large number of likes and comments that these ads receive. 🆒
Invite everyone that has reacted 👏 to the post to like 👍 your page and plug your group in the comments. 👇 These ads are one of the cheapest ways to create engagement for your group or page!
