Facebook Helps Businesses Respond to the COVID-19 Outbreak

To help businesses respond to changes brought on by COVID-19, Facebook has added features that enable businesses to announce šŸ“£ temporary service changes on their Facebook Page and for Facebook searches.⁣
⁣
If your business normally relies on in-person contacts and you have changed the delivery of your business to an online model, you can easily indicate šŸ“² those changes to your customers. Businesses that are subject to closures can also share that they are temporarily closed.⁣
⁣
These features can be accessed by going to Page Settings > Page Info > Hours > Select ā€œTemporary Service Changesā€. Businesses can either indicate that a location is āš ļø ā€œTemporarily Closedā€, or select from multiple options under ā€œOpen with Service Changesā€, like:⁣
⁣
šŸ”µ Online Services⁣
šŸ”µ Delivery⁣
šŸ”µ Pickup⁣
šŸ”µ Other Changes⁣
⁣
Consumers have began using social media as their primary way of getting updates from businesses. Facebook is used for making appointments, and getting information about businesses more than ever before. šŸ“° This is a great way to keep your customers informed about potential changes and show that you have options available. ⁣
