Facebook Helps Businesses Respond to the COVID-19 Outbreak
To help businesses respond to changes brought on by COVID-19, Facebook has added features that enable businesses to announce 📣 temporary service changes on their Facebook Page and for Facebook searches.
If your business normally relies on in-person contacts and you have changed the delivery of your business to an online model, you can easily indicate 📲 those changes to your customers. Businesses that are subject to closures can also share that they are temporarily closed.
These features can be accessed by going to Page Settings > Page Info > Hours > Select “Temporary Service Changes”. Businesses can either indicate that a location is ⚠️ “Temporarily Closed”, or select from multiple options under “Open with Service Changes”, like:

Consumers have began using social media as their primary way of getting updates from businesses.
