Facebook Ad Tips for Creating and Optimizing Campaigns
For #TipTuesday this week, we have a few quick tips to help you get the most out of your Facebook Ad campaigns. 🙌
1️⃣ Setting a bid cap isn’t always a great idea! We’re all on a tight budget, but setting a bid cap sends the wrong message. It’s like saying “I won’t spend a penny over $1.60 for a placement.” Bid caps can limit you. You could miss out on that $1.92 Instagram placement that could have turned into a big purchase. The rule of averages often works in your favour!
2️⃣ Consider your ad placements carefully. ☑️ Each placement option will affect your campaign. For example, mobile users may be less likely to purchase, but more likely to engage. Also, Instagram placements tend to cost more but yield higher engagement. Fine tune these to the needs of your campaign!
3️⃣ You want ad relevance to be high, and ad frequency to be low.
Frequency tells you how often someone is seeing your ad. 👀 If your ad frequency is two, that’s great. If it’s 9, you have a problem! If a user has seen an ad nine times without converting, this is hurting your campaign. Try to keep this below 3.
Facebook’s algorithm rates ads on a scale of one to ten to determine how relevant ads are to your audience. 🙌 Always shoot for 8 or higher for the best CPC’s and ad performance!
Keep these things in mind when creating and optimizing your Facebook Ad campaigns to ensure you’re getting the most out of your ad budget. 💰
