Beware of Google Ads Fraudsters
⚠️ Caution ⚠️ The fraudsters are getting more creative and we’re starting to see an increase in fraudulent acts.
Users are noticing more “Google Ads” charges that aren’t adding up…
That’s because these charges aren’t actually coming from Google Ads but instead someone who has gotten ahold of your business credit card info and is pretending to be Google. (*insert ominous background music*)
The worst part: the charges look similar to normal Google Ads charges 😳.
If you’re suspicious about a Google Ads charge…
👉 Double-check that the account number listed on the charge is your account number.
👉 Ensure the bill amount aligns with what you are typically charged.
👉Go to Google Ads and cross-reference your charges.
