As a PPC Specialist, you will develop paid channel strategies to drive successful revenue generating campaigns from beginning to end. You will help drive valuable insights and report on results: What is working and why? What are the next opportunities? How can we best scale the campaign? We’re looking for an experienced Digital Marketer with a focus on PPC channels to join our team and help guide our clients to success! You want our clients to get the best bang for their buck and grow like crazy. Data makes you tick, you can never get enough of it and can get lost in spreadsheets analyzing data for hours.

Candidates must be located in the Calgary area and have the ability to travel to in-city client meetings when required.

The Job:

  • Plan, execute, and manage paid campaigns on all digital advertising solutions (paid search, paid social, retargeting and display advertising/DSP) including but not limited to strategy development, account setup, campaign configuration, keyword research and ongoing optimizations.
  • Maintain a data-first approach through tracking, reporting, and analyzing website analytics, PPC initiatives and social media campaigns to assess performance and pinpoint issues
  • Monitor budgets, adjust bids, and bring forward data-driven recommendations on how to improve campaign performance
  • Constantly review and optimize campaigns lowering the CPA of each campaign to ensure that targets and goals are being met, or better: surpassed
  • Research and identify new opportunities for digital activations on new platforms and mediums
  • Regularly test campaigns - new creatives, audiences, keywords, bidding strategies
  • Work with the Digital Strategist team and designers to strategize and develop creative concepts and paid media plans that are aligned to overall client goals

Your Experience & Skills:

  • 2+ years of ad buying and managing experience across paid acquisition platforms (Google & Facebook)
  • 2-5 years' experience in a related discipline (Marketing, Digital or eCommerce)
  • Thorough understanding of digital marketing best practices and strategies
  • Proven experience building, maintaining, and optimizing successful digital strategies and PPC campaigns on platforms like Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Bing, and YouTube
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple goals (revenue, engagement, awareness) and to continuously improve month-over-month KPI targets
  • Proficiency managing mid-to-large-scale budgets
  • Great at copywriting. You can write headlines that get (and convert) the click. And can easily craft new angles on demand.
  • Familiarity with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Experience with Google Analytics
  • Great analytical skills and pattern recognition. You can quickly spot trends, trim the fat, and scale what’s working.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience setting up analytics and conversion tracking (Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager)
